Torre de la Horadada is a Spanish town located on the Mediterranean Sea with an estimated population of 2,676 inhabitants and is under the jurisdiction of Pilar de la Horadada, which in turn has a total population of 22,967 according to the National Statistics Institute. Both of these towns are located at the southernmost point of the province of Alicante in southeastern Spain and therefore share a border with the province of Murcia. The town owes its name to two factors: the first is the 16th century watchtower; the second is the site of the tower. und: point Oradada (el horadada), which comes from the Spanish word for "through hole", as it is located on the cliffs, consisting of small caves formed by water poking through the rock.
Diving and snorkelling enthusiasts can enjoy the sea-life-filled Torre coastline. Along the coast you'll find excellent sandbanks combined with small rock formations full of marine diversity and sea grass posidonia, providing an interesting diving experience.
